Energy Efficiency Loan Program

South Central Indiana REMC has designed a loan program to assist its members in making their homes more efficient, comfortable and affordable. The program features are:

• 6.0 % Interest Rate
• Amounts ranging from $2,000 to $10,000
• Payment periods ranging from 12 to 72 months
• No penalty for early payoff
• No interest or principle payment for the 1st six months (optional)
• Offered only to SCI REMC members

Some of the qualifying home improvements are:

• Approved heating & cooling systems
• Insulation upgrades
• Replacement thermal windows
• Insulated doors
• Emergency back-up generators (whole house)
• Solar water heating systems
