South Central Indiana REMC EnviroWatts Program

EnviroWatts is our green power energy program. Renewable energy can come from different sources. The current renewable energy is from biomass. Biomass power is a renewable energy that is created by using gases produced by landfills.

The supply of renewable energy is limited and EnviroWatts costs one cent per kilowatt more than kilowatt hours purchased under our standard residential rate. If you purchase 100 kilowatt hours per month, you pay an additional $1.00.
