Good Neighbors

South Central Indiana REMC is concerned for the safety of our members. For this reason, all employees of the REMC are required to carry a picture identification card and will usually be driving a well-marked vehicle. If one of our employees comes to your home, ask to see his/her card or call into the office and we will verify that employee.

Also, our vehicles are all equipped with radios to be able to call back into the office for assistance. Our employees are instructed to use these radios if they see a traffic accident or see suspicious behavior. The office will then call the sheriff in that county for further assistance. If you are experiencing problems and see one of our vehicles, flag it down and ask for help.
