Economic DevelopmentKey Account Program
South Central Indiana REMC's Business Development Manager, Dan Brackemyre, coordinates the SCI Key Account Program. SCI Key Accounts are considered to be the major commercial / industrial customers and the school systems within the SCI service territory. The Key Accounts are contacted on a routine basis to improve communication, customer service, and to manage any special needs of the customer. SCI also publishes a quarterly newsletter for the Key Accounts entitled "Power Talk" and hosts business seminars and special events of interest to the Key Accounts to assist them in understanding how to better manage their electrical usage and how to operate more efficiently. The Business Development Manager coordinates customer requests regarding electrical issues, questions, and concerns with the SCI Staff, as well as, with our generation and transmission cooperative, Hoosier Energy. In summary, the objective of the Key Account Program is to assist our Key Accounts in a timely manner and provide a single point of contact for the customer to call on as needs arise. MV-Web (Metering Program)
MV-Web is a data access solution offered by South Central Indiana REMC to deliver critical data to our larger commercial and industrial customers. Using the Internet, MV-Web provides secure and reliable access to interval load data. With MV-Web, customers can use data to gain a more precise understanding of their energy usage and costs so they can fine tune equipment operation and startup schedules to reduce or eliminate costly demand peaks and better manage their energy needs for their business.
