Affordable Connectivity Program

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) benefits program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more.

Note: The Affordable Connectivity Program stopped accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024.


ACP Wind Down

In early January 2024, the FCC announced the Affordable Connectivity Program’s expected conclusion in spring, pending additional funding from Congress. ISPs, such as South Central Indiana REMC, are following FCC directives as the program winds down.
