Lifeline Program

Lifeline is a federal program that helps lower the monthly cost of your phone or Internet service.

What is Available?

Subscribers may be eligible to receive up to $9.25 off their phone or internet service if they qualify and live in an area where the program is offered. The  discount is available for Tier 1 internet service with speeds up to 50 mbps. Only 1 monthly service discount is allowed per household.

Step 1: Check if You Qualify

Step 2: Apply for Lifeline

Are you already enrolled in Lifeline? You don’t need to apply again – visit the Lifeline program website to learn more

Step 3: Find a Company Near You or Complete the Lifeline Consent Form

Use this search tool to find a company that offers Lifeline discounts. SCI REMC/SCI Fiber is a provider for Lifeline. Once you are enrolled in the program, please fill out the Lifeline Consent Form.

Tier 1

Up to 50 Mbps

$25 per month

Tier 2

Up to 100 Mbps

$35 per month
  • Plus $8 Managed WiFi Fee

Tier 3

Up to 500 Mbps

$45 per month
  • Plus $8 Managed WiFi Fee

Tier 4

Up to 1,000 Mbps

$55 per month
  • Plus $8 Managed WiFi Fee

Tier 1: $45.75 for up to 50 Mbps and phone $30 per month

*Data rates are up to the advertised speed. Prices do not include required Managed WiFi fee of $8.

Who Qualifies?

Your household qualifies if the household income is at or below 135% for the Federal Poverty Guidelines or any member of the household participates in a government-assistance program, such as:

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance
Program (SNAP)
Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
