FAQ for Changing or Canceling Service with SCI Fiber
Once processed by SCI Fiber, credit balances can take up to 30 days to be received. Fiber credits will offset any balance owed on your electric account before they are refunded. If a saved bank account or credit card is linked, the credit balance can be refunded to the saved account.
You will receive your final bill on your regular billing date.
All equipment (ONT/Router, cords, and extenders) must be returned to the SCI REMC office (300 Morton Avenue, Martinsville, IN 46151) within 10 days of disconnecting your service to avoid equipment charges.

There is no need to cancel if you’re out of town for 1-4 months. You can call and place your services in an extended vacation plan instead and pay a reduced monthly rate.
