Dave McCoy of Mooresville is a District 1 candidate and has been an REMC member for over 20 years. He has worked for BRI Staffing, a local employment agency, as an employment manager with up to 300 field employees for over 20 years. He assists applicants to find employment in engineering, finance, maintenance, clerical and light industrial staffing in Morgan and surrounding counties. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Western Governors University in management strategy. Dave and his wife enjoy traveling, community outreach, fishing, and golfing.
Dave has previously served as the Vice-Committeeman and Precinct Committeeman for Madison Township in Morgan County for six years. The position was responsible for helping organize local township poll recruiting, voting, and processing of results. In addition, he has served as an HOA board member, helping homeowners with new signs, potholes, policy, and member issues. His community involvement includes being the Vice President of the Gideons International Martinsville Camp and has also volunteered time as a Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Facilitator.
