Voting online has many advantages! Your vote is counted instantly, you receive confirmation that it’s been received, and you don’t have to worry about your ballot getting lost. Plus, you can vote anytime, anywhere—it’s super convenient. It's also cost-effective, helping SCI REMC save money on postage and processing while providing fast and accurate results.
You have two options to participate in the director election. First, Members who have provided an email address on their account will receive an email with instructions for online voting. You can also access the website by clicking here. If you don't remember your password, click "Forgot your Election Passcode?" Be sure to have your member number handy.
Each member will also receive a paper ballot by mail, along with a return envelope. To cast your vote, simply complete the ballot and mail it directly to Survey and Ballot Systems. Please note that SCI REMC cannot mail the ballot on your behalf.
SCI REMC works with Survey and Ballot Systems to tabulate both paper ballots and online voting for the 2024 Director Election.
The list of the $100 bill credit winners will be posted on the Annual Meeting page on SCI REMC's website following the Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 27. Members who receive a $15 will not be posted and will not be notified. All winners will have their awarded bill credits added to their accounts within 1 week following the Annual Meeting. The bill credits will be shown on their October 2025 bill.

Each year, three districts are up for election. The following year, a different set of three districts will be on the ballot, and so on. Each director serves a three-year term until the next election. Regardless of which district you reside in, all members are encouraged to vote for candidates in any district that is up for election. However, members may only vote for one person in each district.
Paper ballots must be received no later than Sept. 25, 2024. Online voting is available until 11:59 p.m., Sept. 25, 2024. Ballots are tabulated by Survey & Ballot Systems.
Each member has a unique member number used to identify them when voting online. For paper ballots, members should tear off their name and address before mailing their ballot. Even without this information, each ballot includes a serial number that is linked to the member’s account, ensuring secure identification. Please refer to the example for the locations of identification outlined in red.
