Heat Pump or Smart Water Heater

Rebate for a new constructed or replacing an existing water heater with a new heat pump or wi-fi-enabled electric storage water heater.

MINIMUM EFFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Eligible Equipment: New or replacement heat pump water heaters or Wi-Fi-enabled electric storage water heaters.
  • UEF Rating: Must be ≥ 0.90.
  • Installation Location: The unit must be installed in a home served by SCI REMC.
  • Wi-Fi Units: Must have built-in Wi-Fi capabilities (not stand-alone equipment).
