Minimum Efficiency Requirements for Rebates
To qualify for a rebate:
- Efficiency Tiers:
- Tier 1: $300 rebate
- SEER2 rating: 14.3 – 15.3
- HSPF2 rating: ≥ 7.5
- Tier 2: $400 rebate
- SEER2 rating: 15.4 – 17.2
- HSPF2 rating: ≥ 7.5
- Tier 3: $500 rebate
- SEER2 rating: 17.3 & up
- HSPF2 rating: ≥ 7.5
- Installation Location: The unit must be installed in a home served by SCI REMC.
- Certification: SEER2 ratings must be verified via the AHRI certificate.
Application Guidelines
To qualify for the rebate:
- Submit a completed rebate application, itemized invoice, and before-and-after installation photos.
- Include the AHRI Certificate, obtainable from your contractor or the manufacturer.
- Applications must be received by December 15, 2026, within 90 days of installation and within the same calendar year.
